The Mellieha SC Football Nursery will be organising the Soccer Star Challenge Summer Camp during the months of June, July and August. The camp, which is intended for children aged 5 to 13, will last 14 sessions and will be held at the Mellieha Football Ground. The total cost of participation is € 90.
The Soccer Star Challenge is based on the unique Educational Soccer Program the FA Soccer Star Challenge, which has been used by over 20,000 coaches and teachers involving over 500,000 children. This soccer star challenge will see our coaches preparing the participants in the most important aspects of the game including speed, dribbling, turning, shooting, heading and running with the ball. The sessions will consist of practices and games to enable children to learn essential soccer techniques while having fun. At the end of the Summer Camp, all the players will be assessed by means of a test in each of the above-mentioned skills. A certificate will be issued to each and every individual based on the results attained in the tests.
